We have an exciting opportunity for Regional Business Managers to join our rapidly growing European Sales Team.

Job Role

To develop and grow the company’s business within the allocated sales territories so that the sales turnover and profit is achieved, and growth targets met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Petrico and our distribution partners own brands, within your territories
  • Develop country specific business plans (customers, volumes, values etc)
  • Implement sales strategy to ensure successful growth and continual market development
  • Identify new business opportunities (customers, suppliers, markets, products, services), for future development
  • Maintain regular contact with existing accounts and build relationships to achieve sales growth year on year, expanding sales
  • Manage customer expectations, including addressing any issues raised by customers and responding in a timely manner
  • Provide monthly sales summaries, forecasts and reports, for your territories, to assist the consolidation of centralized market data
  • Regularly participate in industry conferences, trade shows and technical training events
  • Support the commercial team (Regional Business Managers, Company Directors, Commercial Team) by sharing market knowledge, experience and customer feedback on a regular basis
  • Provide technical support to your customers
  • Attend management and sales meetings when required
  • Manage own workload efficiently

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be tenacious and ambitious with great drive and enthusiasm.  As well as being extremely customer focused, we are also looking for an individual with:

  • Good industry knowledge and experience developing technical sales within the lubricants market with an understanding of Industrial and Automotive applications essential
  • A proven background in New Business Development and Account Management
  • Previous experience managing a region
  • Have a pro-active approach to your job role, to secure lasting partnerships with our clients
  • Be able to negotiate to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Have strong IT, Business Analytics and Budget Preparation skills
  • Be able to devise budgeted sales / profit targets and deliver results
  • Full, valid, European driving licence is required

This is a field based role with frequent travel required with occasional overnight stays.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate considerable drive, initiative and business acumen, as well as flexible presentation skills.
