Petcor EM-60

Description

Pector EM-60 is an oxidised wax product, formed of a triethanolamine soap combined with an emulsifier (sodium sulfonate). When used in water, it forms stable emulsions which provide effective protection against corrosion & rust.

Application

• Add Petcor EM-60 to water to form stable emulsions (5-20% treat), the resultant emulsions can be applied to metal surfaces as required (brushing, spraying).
• For use with oil-free applications.
• At a treat rate of 10% in water, a 1 μm film demonstrated no corrosion in a humidity cabinet test of 400 hours.
• At a treat rate of 20% in water, a 10 μm film demonstrated no corrosion in a hot salt spray test of 48 hours.

Storage and Handling

Observe good chemical hygiene practices. If stored appropriately in the original, unopened container, this product has a shelf life of 6 months. Consult the SDS for specific information.
