Overbased Calcium Sulfonate
Description
Petadd DT OB-405 is an oil soluble, and highly overbased calcium sulfonate. This product will lend detergent and dispersant-like properties to a variety of formulations, for various applications.
Petadd DT OB-405 also provides excellent acid neutralising capabilities, and rust & corrosion inhibiting qualities.
Application
- May be used in various formulations in industries such as lubricants, greases, industrial & automotive oils, rust preventives & metalworking fluids.
- An excellent feedstock for the manufacture of overbased calcium sulfonate greases, and gelled coatings.
- It is widely used in metalworking applications, and the manufacture of greases.
Storage and Handling
This product should be stored under dry conditions, and sealed in the original container at 0-50°C. For further details, consult the SDS.
