As part of Petrico’s commitment to these standards and its customers, the business has recently attained Responsible Care accreditation and subsequently registered to the Carechem 24 scheme, allowing access to a 24/7 manned emergency hotline in the event of any unexpected incidences.
Responsible Care is the chemical industry’s global commitment to continual improvement in health, safety, security and environmental performance. Petrico has also signed up for Carechem 24,staffed by highly trained chemists and providing a reliable and robust service, in line with industry regulations, which offers unparalleled support in dealing with incidents safely and responding quickly and effectively to minimise any wider impacts and risk to people, the environment, assets and reputation. Moving into 2020, all Petrico product labels and SDS’ will carry this emergency response number.
