Happy New Year from Petrico

On behalf of the directors and staff of Petrico, we wish you all a Happy New Year and good health and prosperity in 2019.
Your ongoing commitment and support to the business is appreciated as we look with optimism to the next 12 months. 2018 was both a successful and transformational year for Petrico as we extended our product portfolio, secured a major distribution agreement with Lanxess, expanded our team and recently moved into new offices.
In 2019, we will put considerable resource into growing the Lanxess business and further develop our own range of products. We will explore new opportunities within new and existing markets and strengthen our synergies and relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
As new members of the Chemical Business Association, we will be looking to capitalise on this by projecting our presence to wider industries and will also be working towards attaining Responsible Care status which is the Chemical Industry’s premier performance initiative for a sustainable business.
In addition, Petrico will continue to be an active supporter of the UKLA whilst also considering opportunities to build our ties with Europe’s UEIL and ELGI. We have also put in place strategic plans to enable us to cope with a worst case ‘hard Brexit’ with the creation of Petrico International BV, our new subsidiary company which will be listed and trade in the Netherlands from this month.
We work in an everchanging, dynamic industry that demands the highest quality from its products and its people to allow it to function. We are proud of our collective achievements to date and confidently look forward to meeting the challenges that 2019 will bring as we look to develop the Petrico offering for our mutual benefit.
